We have in stock a range of figurative works, including oils, works on paper, and sculpture. Amongst the traditional artists in our stock room who have produced figurative work are Charles Conder, Rupert Bunny, George Lambert, Jacob Epstein and Nora Heysen, daughter of the great Australian landscape painter Hans Heysen. Many of these artists spent long periods of time studying and working in Europe alongside their European contemporaries. Rupert Bunnyís ìModels in the Gardenî was painted while the artist lived in France in the latter years of the 19th Century and early 20th century.

From the latter part of the 20th Century, and more recently our stockroom contains figurative works by leading Australian artistís such as Charles Blackman, Arthur Boyd, Ray Crooke, Robert Dickerson, Sidney Nolan, Clifton Pugh, Donald Friend, Brett Whiteley, William Boissevain, Gary Shead, Francis Lymburner, John Olsen, Roland Wakelin, John Brack, Russell Drysdale and Guy Boyd.
